‘Red Herring’ Sat 21st September

Drop Heather an email if you would like to come to the performance, Lewis’ last show at the Fringe was excellent!

Dear Members

You are invited to a very special event on Saturday 21 September at 7.30pm in the church hall.

Lewis Garvey @Gardylootheatre has written and directed RED HERRING, ‘a semi-nautical, supernatural comedy full of folklore, fantasy and the rural coast’ and is currently performing at the Edinburgh Fringe.

This is a wonderful opportunity to see a live show fresh from Edinburgh. You may remember the amazing SPACE ROCKET ODDITY MAN which he wrote and performed at the Fringe two years ago. He then came and performed it for us.

Lewis performed in the Players’ production of The Darling Buds of May some time ago, and his gran, June Hayes, was a member of the Players.

This special show will last about an hour – refreshments will be available. We do hope you can join us – why not bring a friend?

As this is not a ticketed event, it would be very helpful if you could let me know if you intend to come.

After the show, if you would like to make a donation, I’m sure Lewis would be very grateful as he is hoping to travel with his show, taking it to different venues.

Heather
